Christina “Chrissy” Morgera (’14), The Bottom Line’s Editor-in-Chief from 2012-2014, and The Pioneer’s Photo Editor from 2010-2013, graduated from LIU Post with a B.F.A. in Art Education with a Photography minor. She received her MA in Art Education Social Activism from NYU Steinhardt in May 2016 and will begin a full time teaching job in a wonderful innovative elementary school in Manhattan called “Manhattan Charter School 2.” Chrissy will be their founding full time art teacher, teaching K-5. She says that her time working on the newspaper and magazine helped her grow not only as a professional individual but as a person. Her goal in life is to change the world in some shape or form for the bettering of mankind.
